A village in the North of Torvaldsland that was build by pilgrims who traveled far north to the coast to find food, to find fish and to survive. Many years later the people lived here in peace and harmony. The village grew fast into a big village, and the people named it Kaupangen (English: market place or trading place). Pilgrims came to the village to trade their merchandise and became merchants who found a home to live. The northern men named Jarls founded the name Trondheim under the leading of a High Jarl, the King of the city. From that day the village carried the name Trondheim.
A homestone for pilgrims.
